How to Hide the Number of YouTube Subscribers. [New method!] 2021.

Want to hide your YouTube subscriber count? We show you the way to (but also question why you would want to try and do that?).

When you tell people you have got a YouTube channel, one in all the most common questions asked is, "Oh, what the number of subscribers do you have?" and therefore the answer could also be, none of your business!

When you are logged in to YouTube, you must see your channel logo within the top right-hand corner of most YouTube screens. If you click on it, you have got the option to go to YouTube Studio. this is often currently in beta, but will become the quality as 2019 progresses. this is often your homepage, or dashboard, on the new creator studio, and so as to cover subscriber counts from the general public , you click on the settings button within the bottom left-hand corner.

1st. Go to YouTube Studio. and Open studio.YouTube.com in your browser and sign in with your account. You'll be able to also access the YouTube Studio using YouTube webpage.

To do this, login to www.youtube.com and click on your profile picture in the upper right corner. Then, select YouTube Studio from the menu.

2nd. Click the Settings option. You will see this option in the menu bar on the left. A dialog box will appear on your screen.

Why do you hide your YouTube Subscriber details from the public?

So, that's how you hide your subscriber count. The burning question now's why would you are doing this? The common opinion is that having a clear subscriber count can either add or deduct value from your channel. tons of video creators with smaller channels, say, but 100 subscribers, are worried that viewers are going to be immediately transitioned from their content because they do not have a perceived audience watching their content already.

That may be a legitimate point. Once you watch a video, and you see a channel with many subscribers, does that convince you more to subscribe their channel than content from another video creator which is simply nearly as good, but features a tiny number of subscribers? But as subscriber counts are by default public, what quite message does that send if a creator makes a conscious decision to cover them?

From a private point of view, I've never been scared of hiding my subscriber count; after all, every video creator starts at zero and finishes up somewhere. And after a couple of years of creating videos, and when you've built up your channel, you'll realize what a immaterial number that was once you were first starting out your channel. It's all a part of a YouTube journey.
